Here is a nice swing from Met rookie Bret Baty. I like the initiation geometries shown in pic 3. Also the great rotation between pic 3 &4. He really keeps the bat and lead arm on a good swing plane throughout the swing.
The Met's announcer Keith Hernandez has said he really likes Baty's swing. I wonder if Keith could give detailed reasons why this is a good swing. Or if he just "feels" that it is, based on experience.
